| WELCOME to the
AMVETS Department of New Jersey web site. AMVETS Department
of New Jersey was founded by World War II Veterans, and was incorporated
on October 9, 1945. Since that date we have continually amended our Membership
requirements. AMVETS is a Veteran's Organization open to all Veterans
who have served, and to those who will serve. Currently, members of National
Guard, and Reserve Military are accepted as members along with Merchant
Marines who have received a DD-214 and an Honorable Discharge.
As Veterans Organization, our objective is to serve not only AMVET members, but also all other veterans who need assistance in securing the entitlements they have earned and deserve. As you review our web site, forward your opinion and lets us know what you think. We will continually add additional pages of interest to all veterans.
